After returning from Adoration one Thursday afternoon in June, it was 86 degrees and much too hot to mow my backyard, which sadly needed it. So, I’d have to do it in the evening, though the weather forecast was rain in the afternoon and the clouds were already dark and ready to give way to rain.
With the slope in the backyard, it would be impossible to mow it if it rained. I prayed to God that He would give me at least four hours of cool weather before the end of the weekend, which was suppose to be in the high 80s and low 90s.
Within 30 minutes of my prayer, the temperature dropped to 74 degrees and a nice cool breeze had developed. So, I put my inside work on hold and mowed the backyard — the entire thing, which I generally have to do in two sessions because of the slope.
